Loathsome Matrimony

Hamas Minister of Culture describes Condoleezza Rice and explains Bush'es policies:

"...that black scorpion with a cobra's head, Condoleezza,"

"Every proud Palestinian views you as a murderer, and sees the blood of the children of Palestine between your lips and on your fangs. I pray to Allah that you will soon slither away, along with your master who is more Zionist than the Zionists, that murderer and criminal, whose place in history is more advanced than that of Nero, Hulagu, Genghis Khan, Timor the Lame, Hitler, and Mussolini, and before them that of Nimrod - that criminal murderer, little Bush, who is striving to fan the flames in this region. "

"Bush believes in the same idea as the Jews: The land from the Euphrates to the Nile is yours, oh Israel.*"

* If you think this last claim is the territory of Hamas nutters, think again. The only place where such a claim is made can be found in the antisemitic tract aka The Hamas Charter. It's a defamation of Zionism as The Protocols of Zion and Mein Kampf ever were of Jews. Yet here I found this unbelievable attempt to exonerate Saddam Hussein of his genocidal brutality put forward by some poster on an Internet Message Board. I'm not providing a link to this MB for the reason I would not provide a link to David Duke's website and other websites of similar flavour, though I wouldn't categorize that particular Message Board as formally, or uniformly, antisemitic... yet:

"... Saddam didn't want to strengthen the terrorist movement overall. It's probably true that he rewarded Hammas suicide bombers specifically in the I/P situation.... he felt threatened by Israel, inasmuch as Zionists viewed a large part of Iraq as falling within "The Promised Land," which would eventually be Israel's."

One more example of how antisemitic tropes are now acceptable by too many as "legitimate" criticism of Israel. There is very little light, if any, between what the Hamas "Minister of Culture" and this American poster say. A very unholy consummation between toxic reactionary Islamism and the Outlandish Left of the flat-earth-logic type.

In view of the above, even Pat Buchanan begins to look almost rational...:

Writing a book whose theme is that the allies, and especially the British, unwisely and unduly pressured Hitler, and therefore were culpable for much of the carnage of World War II, again, does not “rewrite… facts”, but simply ignores them. And, yes, it does indeed serve to lessen the enormous sacrifices that American and British soldiers endured to stop a monstrosity like National Socialism, whose doctrine of racial hatred and territorial expansion logically led to a German government attacking by 1940 most of its neighbors, to the east, west, north and south, and eventually, in industrial fashion, murdering 6 million Jews

I have to pinch myself when I read this sort of thing. Do large numbers of Arabs actually believe this tripe? Unfortunately, they do.

And the left believes the West is intolerant, xenophobic and racist? It's totally wacked out.

Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver--no friend of the Jews or the US government--called Arabs "the most racist people on earth."

I don't have enough data to verify that but they certainly are among the most prone to conspiracy theories and illusions of grandeur which are always a caustic combination.

I think there is very little to be sceptical about on the issue of Arab racism.

"illusions of grandeur"

delusions...

I recognize prevalent racism, rampant racism, but "the most racist"? I don't know...

The article by Ochonu was excellent, BTW.

Professor Harik writes:

"They are not anti-African on any basis. For one thing, the largest ethnic component of the Arab world is African."

Yes, as a result of Arab-Islamic imperialism. My bad. I should know better. Imperialism and empire are western creations that have no analog among the peoples of the "global South".

A similar argument is made (by dunces):

Arabs can't be anti-Semitic, because they are Semites.

These sound like people Jimmy Carter can find common ground with and mutual respect in the search for peace.

LOL!
