Reasons to embrace Islam

Egyptian Islamist Hazem Abu Ismail explains why Islam is a better, cleaner social system:

Less Thieving:

"Surprisingly enough, in a tiny neighborhood in a country like Egypt - or even in America, England, or anywhere in the world - there are thousands of cases of theft every year, notwithstanding modern penal codes, modern criminology, and all the reform and torture that takes place in prisons.

"On the other hand, due to Islamic law, during the [first] 100 years of Islam, there were only four cases of theft. Since the punishment for theft was instated, there have been only 10 cases of theft. "

No AIDS:

"...the entire world is ablaze with the AIDS disease, as a result of homosexuality and sexual promiscuity - all the men and women committing adultery... The only exception is the Islamic region. The Islamic region is the only safe haven, Allah be praised."

NWO: Do you seriously consider that facts and logical arguments have any purchase power with this kind of mind?

I dont think Mumar is reading this blog, either.

This US banking crisis has all the likely suspects and a few more talking about the US's downfall.

I find it interesting that the US shaped and policed world order produced so much prosperity around the world, but the US doesnt get credit for that. Its not that the US is falling down, but rather others are massively prospering and catching up. Kind of puts the lie to the Evil Empire meme. And Naomi Klein's crap about global capitalism...global capitalism(and democracy) is lifting millions out of poverty....effecient wealth creation and distribution.

Its mindboggling the schadenfreude on the net about the US's financial difficulties. The British Left is looking forward to the Chinese Dream (as opposed to the American Dream).

Simply amazing.
