Ive been reading Peter Beinart and Philip Weiss (at Mondoweiss).
They are attacking Israel from the Left, their demands are the same, that Israel must destroy itself in order to have any love or credibility....similar to holding Euro Christian nations feet to the same fire, they must devolve power to others and disempower themselves in the nation to minorities and mass immigration of any and all others...in order to be loved (and conversely not roundly condemned and actively campaigned against) by the "decent morally righteous Left."
What a hoot!
These fools didnt understand that, that was merely a vehicle to disempower the Euro Christians (and empower Jews and other allies) in those nations. And now they have turned their deconstructive ways on Israel.
Philip Weiss is calling for a Civil Rights Movement of a coalition of minorities and Jewish Leftwingers in Israel, referencing the US historical movement.

Monmdoweiss is a really nutty blogger, a friend of Prof. Abukhalil, my favourite Arab blogger, and a Mearsheimerian "Righteous Jew".
There seems to be quite a few fellow travellers in the comments section...which I am finding interesting.
Is Weiss really a friend of the Angry Arab professor?

Ive recently witnessed the ugly Anti Semitism that seems to be fairly widespread in American libertarians. Ive confronted them over their support for foreign policy nutter and Federal Reserve - "Bankster" conspiracist Ron Paul.
They reject the evidence that Ron Paul is an Anti Semite (which is pretty clear) though he may not be a virulent Jew hater. But besides that, on egaging them, many libertarian Paul supporters themselves are pretty clear Anti-Semites (though they may not be virulent Jew haters).
It was pretty dissappointing and disturbing.
PS - Apparently Ron Paul is getting some support from the far Left anarchists as well.

Most liberal (secular) Jews were not radicals. They wanted to incorporate/assimilate themselves into European life. They did not want to “empower” themselves and “other allies” (not sure who you are talking about here) at the expense of European Christians. In fact, many of them were more than willing to jettison their Judaism if that meant social and political acceptance. But that was not enough. They were still seen as outsiders.

There are no “far left anarchists” who support Paul, or any politician for that matter. To the extent that there are people who call themselves anarchists who support Paul, they need to go back to basic principles. The core of anarchist political philosophy is a rejection of any form of government and a rejection of capitalism. Perhaps we can call them “AINOs” (Anarchists In Name Only)?
